The 2022 FIFA World Cup has kicked off in Qatar, the first time the tournament has been hosted in the Middle East. The coveted football tournament will take place from November 20th to December 18th, 2022, with 32 teams competing for the World Cup.

This is how the tournament works

All 32 nations were divided into eight groups of four teams each. The teams in each group play each other and the top two finishers in each group advance to the knockout stage (round of 16). The winners of these encounters advance to the quarter-finals, then the semi-finals, culminating in the final on Sunday 18 December 2022.

The US is grouped with England, IR Ian and Wales.

World Cup schedule 2022

Please find below the official match schedule of the FIFA World Cup (mobile users, Click here to view the PDF.) You can see which teams are grouped, who is playing against each other and when.

The group game will take place from November 20th to December 2nd. The round of 16 will take place from December 3rd to 6th, 2022, followed by the quarterfinals on December 9th and 10th, the semifinals on December 13th and 14th and the World Cup game on December 18th, 2022.

How to watch on FOX 35 News

Fans can watch all 64 World Cup games FOX, FS1 and FOX Sports.com. Everything planned US games are on FOX on the following dates and times:

  • Mon, Nov. 21: United States vs. Wales: 2 p.m. ET, FOX
  • Friday, Nov. 25: England vs. United States: 2 p.m. ET, FOX
  • Tuesday, Nov. 29: Iran vs. United States: 2 p.m. ET, FOX

Should the US advance, these games will also be broadcast on FOX.

How to watch on your Smart TV

Both FS1 and FOX are available on all major streaming services in the US

Fans can stream games Download the FOX Sports app on Apple TV, Roku, Sling TV, XBOX, Google Chromecast, FireTV and Android TV.

Additionally, Tubi, owned by FOX, offers on-demand match replays for free in 4K. You can download the Tubi app on your Smart TV and create an account to start watching.

How to look on your phone

You can download the FOX Sports app by downloading it on your iPhone via the Apple App Store or on your Android or smartphone via Google Play.

The Tubi app is also available for download Android and for iPhone.

How to watch online

Both a FOX Sports account and a Tubi account give you access to watch games online.

Visit foxsports.com/instant-accessand then you need to sign up with an account from your paid TV subscription provider, such as DirectTV, Hulu, or YouTube TV.

You can stream matches for free on Tubi, but they won’t be live. Tubi will have all 64 games available on demand and will distribute them as replays via a World Cup channel. You can find them here.
