The 2022 World Cup players arrive in Qatar in style

There are only a few days left until the 2022 World Cup in Qatar begins. The first game takes place on Sunday, with the hosts playing Ecuador in Al Khor.

After friendlies in neighboring countries, the last team arrived in Qatar on Friday. Soon to be sporting official training attire and redesigned national team kits, the world’s best footballers took the opportunity to arrive in style at the event.

Let’s start with one of the big ones. Lionel Messi is Argentina’s captain and led the team to second place at the 2014 World Cup. He has played 165 games with his national team but hinted that this World Cup could be his last.

It arrived in Abu Dhabi in a familiar shade of blue.

However, Messi’s teammate, Argentina striker Sergio Aguero, had a very different travel experience. His flight to Qatar was packed with Brazil fans.

The team that Messi lost in 2014, Germany, didn’t make it past the group stage in 2018. The Germans open their tournament against Japan and also have Spain in their group. They showed up in blazers with the coat of arms of Germany on the left breast.

France, reigning world champions, are attempting to become the first team to win consecutive titles since Brazil in 1958 and 1962. Le Bleus Returning 10 members from the 2018 team. The 2022 squad is packed with stars including Karim Benzema, Kylian Mbappe, Ousmane Dembele and Olivier Giroud. They arrived in style at their training facility in Clairefontaine, France before heading to Qatar.

Poland’s team got a special escort. Robert Lewandowski & Co. had two F-16 fighter jets fly alongside the team’s flight to Qatar. The jet caravan comes days after a rocket hit a Polish town near the Ukrainian border. According to Polish news agencies, the fighters traveled with the team until it left Polish airspace.
