Seven Deadly Sins Anime Movie Reveals New Trailer And Release Date In December

That Seven Deadly Sins The anime may have ended, but fans have more to look forward to as the series returns with a two-part spin-off film titled Edinburgh resentment. A recent disclosure by trusted leaker @shonenleaks (Shonen Leaks) indicated that the anime film will be released on Netflix on December 20, 2022.

As in previous installments, fans can expect all of the intense combat, dark magic, and gritty jokes they know and love from the original anime series.

The franchise has previously released two films with the title captives of heaven and Cursed by the Light which focused on the seven deadly sins and their struggles. However, the upcoming spin-off film will shift the focus to Tristan, Meliodas and Elizabeth’s adorable child, as he embarks on a journey to discover himself.

As already mentioned, The Seven Deadly Sins: The Grudges of Edinburgh Part 1 The anime film will be released on Netflix on December 20, 2022. The duration of the film is a bit of a mystery, but as mentioned, it’s speculated to be around an hour and thirty minutes.

Noriyuki Abe, who previously directed captives of heaven, is the supervising director of the upcoming movie. Meanwhile, Bob Shirahata is the director and Rintarou Ikeda is the screenwriter. Fans will be pleased to learn that Nakaba Suzuki, the author of The seven deadly sins Manga, wrote the story of the upcoming spin-off.

The cast for the Edinburgh Grudges Part 1 seems to be a good one, with notable names to lend her talent. While Japanese actress Mikako Komatsu lent her voice to a young Tristan, Ayumu Murase, who is known for his voice Haikyu!!‘s Shoyo Hinata voiced the teenage version of the character.

Meanwhile, Yuki Kaji, known for her roles in top series such as JoJo’s bizarre adventure, attack on Titanand accel world, was given the responsibility to stand as the voice of Meliodas. Other characters such as Elizabeth Liones, Diane, Ban and King were voiced by Sora Amamiya, Aoi Yuuki, Tatsuhisa Suzuki and Jun Fukuyama respectively.

The spin-off revolves around Meliodas and Elizabeth’s son, Tristan, and his quest to control his powers. Born with supernatural abilities, he possesses the power to heal people’s wounds and injuries. However, as the son of Meliodas, a demon, he is also powerful enough to harm humans.

So the boy embarks on a journey to Edinburgh to protect his family. His main goal is to find out more about himself and how to control his powers and use his abilities for good.
