A player has discovered a creepy bug Pokemon scarlet and Violet.

@t_a_b_e_r_u posted a chilling clip of themselves playing the Nintendo Switch title. In the video, they attempted to ride their iconic Pokémon-converted motorcycle, but their character transformed into something people would only see in a horror movie. The trainer becomes gigantic and deformed, looking like Reed Richards from Fantastic Four or a Titan attack on Titan. The Twitter user wrote, “This bug is dangerous,” but said the bug eventually improved. The people in the response area compared it to disturbances from deformed characters The Sims.

Ahead of the official release date of the Generation IX games, The Pokémon Company announced that there would be a day-one patch to enable online features like four-player co-op, Tera Raid battles, and the Battle Stadium. Four player co-op is new in the Pokemon franchise and allows players to explore the Paldea region with friends. Players can even cheer on each other in Unknown mode while engaging in wild Pokémon battles. To unlock this multiplayer experience, players must reach the first Pokémon Center.

In a Reddit leak, someone has compiled the data for each trainer battle scarlet and violet and discovered that Pokémon battles had become much easier. According to the leak, trainers never heal their Pokemon or swap them out for another pocket monster. This is a huge difference from how often Gym Leaders and the Elite Four have had a potion or full restore on hand in the past Pokemon games.

Despite the difficulty downgrade, Generation IX games granted some Pokémon updated 3D models. For example, the Generation II Typhlosion lacked her fiery flames except when attacking opponents. After the complaints, Game Freak allowed Typhlosion’s flames to be constantly active. The video game company also updated Charizard’s expression and resting position when he’s not in mid-flight.

Before the official release date for scarlet and violet, Generation IX games have been subject to massive leaks on social media. Centro Leaks, whose Twitter account has since been suspended, even leaked the entire Paldean Pokédex. The mass leak included the 16 Paradox Pokémon and the three Paldean forms of Generation I Tauros and Wiglett, Wugtrio, Toedscool, and Toedscruel, based on the Gen 1 Pokémon Diglett, Dugtrio, Tentacool, and Tentacruel.

Pokemon scarlet and violet are now available on the Nintendo Switch.
