Disney Speedstorm release date
This brand new Disney game was first announced during this year’s Nintendo Direct event. With the announcement, we also saw the trailer for the game, which you can check out here. In terms of the game’s release, Disney Spedstorm is expected to release either in December 2022 or early next year in 2023. The developers have not given a firm release date for the game.
Disney Speedstorm – developer and publisher
The developers and publishers of this brand new Disney racing game are being taken on by the very popular Gameloft team. The same studio behind popular games like Asphalt 9, The Oregon Trail, Sniper Fury, Modern Combat Versus and a ton of other games. Whether Disney Speedstorm will be a paid game or a free game, no one knows yet. What we do know for sure is the large number of in-game purchases that can be made within the game to buy powerups, currency, and probably a ton of other stuff.

The trailer for this new racing game has a lot of energy. You will see 4 characters getting ready to race and compete against each other. You’ll see Mickey Mouse, Captain Jack Sparrow and a few others driving through the crazy tracks that have lots of obstacles as well as platforms where you can jump in the air and land on the other tracks.
While you may just be racing, you need to be alert at all times. Your opponents will use various tricks and weapons to slow you down and make you spin out of control to make you lose. The tracks are quite colorful and have a lot of elements seen in Disney and Pixar movies. Disney Speedstorm Gameplay
There was a closed beta held earlier this year and many gameplay videos have surfaced online. The gameplays show you the different racetracks in the game, which are taken from different Disney and Pixar movies. Whether it’s from Hercules, Pirates of the Caribbean, or Monsters Inc, you’ll be able to race along. Also, every character in the game can be leveled up as the game progresses. The characters will also have unique abilities and tricks that can be sued to take advantage of the other players.
We can also expect more characters, vehicles, and racing maps to become available after the game’s release. Hopefully we could even see different festivals; and holiday events to keep the game alive for a period of time. In terms of physics and handling of the vehicles in the game, you can expect them to resemble the lines of Gameloft’s popular arcade racing game, Asphalt 9.
