Criminal Minds: Evolution – release date and how to watch it in UK

Just two years after the hit police series Criminal Minds ended after 15 years on screen, the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Unit is back for a new reboot – Criminal Minds: Evolution.

The new series is expected to return a variety of the original cast and continue the storyline of the original franchise. It is also supposed to put serialized elements in the format of the series.

In the US, Criminal Minds: Evolution will air on Paramount Plus, but has been confirmed to stream exclusively on in the UK DisneyPlus.

This means the reboot will join the original series, all fifteen seasons of which are already available on Disney Plus right now.

The first two episodes of the 10-episode season of Criminal Minds: Evolution will be available on Disney Plus in the UK Friday 25 Novemberwith new episodes, which then fall weekly.

The series’ midseason finale will take place on Friday, December 16 before a short hiatus. Episodes will then be re-released beginning Friday, January 13, 2023, with the season finale streaming beginning Friday, February 10.

The official synopsis for Criminal Minds: Evolution states that “the FBI’s elite team of criminal profilers encounters their greatest threat yet, an UnSub who has used the pandemic to create a network of other serial killers.”

The synopsis continues, “As the world reopens and the network goes live, the team must hunt them down, murder at a time.”
